The Presidency Council of RCH including Bishops and Lay Presidents of the four Church Districts announced the return to public worship. Churches should reopen and in-person worship and community life shall start on 2nd May, says the Communiqué.
Considering the improving epidemic situation and the increasing level of the vaccination of the population, we ask the congregations of RCH to re-open our churches as of May 2. We have been locked down for a long time, and many of us are already looking forward to the moment when we can meet physically again in our communities.
At the same time, we kindly remind all our members of the fact that the pandemic is still with us.
We therefore ask that the opening be carried out carefully, prudently and in strict compliance with all relevant measures of the health authorities. In addition, we recommend organize in-person meetings gradually. In organizing weekday events, local conditions should be taken into account. The fact should be considered that singing in Church increases the risk of infection.
Let us pray for our brothers and sisters who are fighting for their lives and for those who have lost loved ones and those who are in danger. We pray for the grace and loving care of our Almighty Lord for those who are restlessly working to protect our lives and heal the sick.
Members of the Council.
But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your ministry. (2Tim. 4:5)
